Poketti
I’m the CEO of Poketti LLC, a plush toy company I founded with my sister in July 2013 after my 7th-grade entrepreneurial class. Since our launch on Kickstarter, I’ve designed each Poketti character, created a commercial that aired on national TV, pitched to Walmart in Arkansas, attended gift trade shows and pop-up sales events, published a Young Entrepreneur’s Handbook, launched a YouTube channel, developed a multi-tiered sales channel, and ran marketing across platforms. Everything I’ve learned about pitching, graphic design, and branding can all be traced back to my stuffed animal company.

I designed our “Poketti Plushies with a Pocket” characters based on surveys from potential buyers. We began with Series1 plushies and evolved into Series2 after helpful feedback from the VP of Toys at Walmart. We’ve sold Poketti Plushies on our website, Etsy, Amazon, and at retail stores across the country.
Below is a portion of the slide deck we used to present to Walmart’s toy department, as well as distributors, publicists, schools and clubs, and company partners.
See below for a look at our Young Entrepreneur’s Handbook that I wrote, designed, and published in the Summer of 2018. The handbook is meant to inspire the next generation of young entrepreneurs with all the lessons I have learned from growing our business.
Below is the TV commercial that aired on children’s TV networks including Sprout, Nick Jr, and Cartoon Network. I produced the commercial in iMovie using video my sister and I shot on green screen and at the local mall, with lyrics sung by my fellow middle school friend.
